City of Austin responses regarding site plan

This afternoon we communicated with a neighbor who has contacted the City of Austin staff member responsible for the transportation aspect of the site plan review.  The neighbor brought up the "no trucks" sign on 50th and the staff person is looking into it.  We should hear back on that in a few days.  Also, we would like to encourage everyone to be respectful when dealing with the City staff as we seek their help in understanding our options and any possible input that we may be able to have in this process.

The following is from the Nextdoor Ridgetop website, as posted by Patricia Borowicz (reposted here with her kind permission):

Here is the email from Amanda this morning: **********************************************************
Ms. Borowicz,
Thank you for your interest in case # SP-2013-0200C. By State Law, all land development applications must be reviewed, and, if in compliance with all City Codes, a permit must be issued. While I cannot reject a site plan application based on your concerns, I can explain the process and answer any questions you may have about the application/ land development process.

This case is currently under review by several City staff members, each reviewing for regulatory compliance with their respective disciplines; this includes, but is not limited to, transportation, environmental, etc. Each staff member does receive a copy of the site plan. Once all reviewers have completed their review, the case manager, myself, will compile all rejection comments into a Master Comment Report, which is sent to the applicant and all registered interested parties. This site plan is administrative; there are no conditions requiring a public hearing or approval by the land use commission.

The applicant then has the opportunity to amend their plans according to the comments and submit an update for another review, and master report. This process of update and review continues until either all comments are cleared and the permit is issued, or the site plan application expires. This project has yet to received its first round of comments and there are not yet any concerns.

If you live or own property within 500 feet of the site, you may be eligible to be an registered interested party. As an interested party, you would receive copies in the mail of the master comment reports as well as any administrative actions. If you would like to be an interested party, please provide the following information:
